A collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment open to all Hopkins students, FastForward U provides training and resources to empower emerging student entrepreneurs to develop ideas and disruptive technologies into successful startups. FastForward U is housed in R. House, just a couple blocks off campus and accessible by shuttle. The JHU Business Plan Competition allows young entrepreneurs to take their novel idea or innovative technology and develop a business plan around it. Student teams compete in three categories (General Enterprise & Technology, Medical Technology & Life Sciences, and Social Enterprise) for a total of $36,000 in prizes.
